Wanted:Emissions parts

Dan: CO doesn't have emissions as a whole, just the big cities/counties do it.

I do recall we had a few members from denver who had problems with the emissions from year to year, I can't imagine it has gotten any better!

Yeah, where I live it is visual and smog.

My plan is to buy as many parts as I can from members in this forum and then have a mechanic work on it. I'm a third of the way to meeting the spending requirement ($715) for a waiver, so I might as well keep going. If I pass when I take it in again, great. If I don't then I'll just get the waiver. Emissions suck.

Irowiki and BaileySims - I'll PM you - would love to buy parts from that box of emissions stuff you have.

Anyone else have any parts that could work in helping me out for emissions testing?

I'm looking for:
TVSV with hoses
stock carb I can rebuild
I have the pipe that comes off the cat that goes forward to the flexible tube - I am missing everything beyond that tube - the pipe that extends off flexible with 90 degree bend and valve that is size of 32 oz can
California air filter assembly that has valve off the front
AND if there are any other parts you think I need

I have a few unknown quality TVSVs running around but no hoses.

I will look at my collection of carbs and see what I have.

Do not have the AS valve.

Wait what, california emissions? Are you sure? I miiiight have one but I'll have to look.

Get us a picture of your emissions sticker and the passenger side of your engine bay with the air filter off.

Thanks guys so much I hope this all works out. I think this is the emissions plate stating it is a 3a-c, again we have a 4a engine but trying to meet the 3a-c emissions rigging. Then here are more shots of the passenger side without the air filter.

Nah get the sticker on the hood!

I can already see one glaring problem, the AAP is hooked up to constant vacuum.

I think everything Bailey has will be useful. Will look at this more tomorrow.

One of the members had a lot of the items so I'm almost ready to attempt to put this thing together but here are the final parts I am still looking for if anyone has them they can part with:

EGR Vacuum Modulator 3 port
MC valve
Connecting tubes - i'll get new vacuum tubing but i don't have any of of the metal tubing that wraps around along the left side of the engine

and Ironwiki - I don't have a sticker under the hood, must have deteriorated.

I have the vacuum hard lines I can send you I suppose I could get the other stuff off the one of my local junk yard but it would be a few days for sure

Good news, everyone! Thanks to the members who got me some parts to help with emissions, we passed! Barely, but we passed! Next step is getting a professional paint job.
