petros i re torqued the head and seems to be doing better before i did my radidator hose would build a lot of pressure and now it is at a much better pressure will drive on it and see how it does but it seems to be doing good got to half temp fan came on for 24 seconds and turned off sits just under half temp when im driving in town tomorrow will see how it does on the freeway

good news than. keep an eye on that coolant level, I usually check it in the morning when it is cold. You get a more consistent coolant level that way, coolant slightly expands when it is hot, so the level would not be the same at different coolant temps.
Check each morning for a few weeks to verify if you are still loosing coolant.

its looking good after a full day of work i checked the radiator and for the first time it was totally full. the temp sits at about half when in town driving and just under half on the freeway can drop the temp quickly by getting the revs above 3,500rpm and it drops really quick will continue to keep an eye on it though thank you for the advise about re torquing the head. Just started a new project car its a 87 corolla hatch ae86 witch is in my garage at the moment still needs lots of parts but excited to start playing with a 4age and rwd will start a new post for that so you guys can see what im doing
