Cool, just found the original recall documents on the NHSTA site. They call it the lower control arm, which helps explain why I can't find any parts when I look for a trailing arm.

Driver's-side replacement arm is 48707-16903; passenger's-side 48703-16903. Either one seems to be $300 from Toyota.
Current vehicles: 1982 Mercedes-Benz 300SD Turbodiesel with 211,000, 1994 Buick Century with 50,000, and a 2004 Toyota Corolla 5-speed with 153,000 (not mine, but I drive it)

I also have 8 vacuums, 8 typewriters, 5 sewing machines, and two lawnmowers...

What's that thing mounted to the right (driver's side) of the engine? Something for A/C?
