Weclome to the forum!
the front bearings and seals are still available, Autozone, NAPA etc stores can order them, or you can buy them direct from Rockauto.com. I do not know what "obsolete" means, they are available new from aftermarket sources. Not likely the dealer would have them, is that where you took it to have it fixed?
If any of the hard parts are damaged I have some of these parts, the center hub and steering knuckle, but with bad bearings in them. Any shop with a press can remove the old bearings and seals and install the new ones.
New CV axles are also available from Rockauto.com. if the cv joint is still good there are generic boot kits that can be installed over the existing cv axle joint, any auto parts store should have those.
State side any of these parts can be order from aftermarket sources and pick up locally. It may take longer to get to you there, but you should also be able to get them from Rockauto.com. I do not think I would take it to the dealer to get worked on, but see if there is a reliable older mechanic working at an independent repair shop that can do the work for you and has a better source of parts.
Good luck.

if i do not do it myself i have local machine shop install bearings and seals (usually $35.00 ) that's with old bearings removed

Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

Re: Looking for a hub for my 86 tercel wagon
all i need is cost of shipping
not sure what that would be
guessing under 30.00
i have some used ones with bearing & seals still in them
if i have one that seems good you can have it but I cannot know how long it will last
otherwise i would send one with out bearing and seals and you would have to find them and install
