Need A Non-AC Serpentine Belt?

Post by ARCHINSTL »

I finally got around to installing the PS and alt/pump belts I bought a few years ago from Advance.
Of course, I bought the alt/pump belt for the non-AC car; dumb Tom.
Since Goldie was originally an AC car, I had to pick up the longer belt today.
So - the non-AC belt is new and unused and uninstalled.
The part number is 385K3. It is labeled Kelly-Springfield (Goodyear), made in Mexico. It has 3 ribs.
Current selling price at Advance is $9.69 and Autozone is $9.99.
$9.00, including surface postage in the USA, takes it.

Bump.
New price, including surface postage, is just $7.50 - and that barely covers the postage.

Bump again.
Now FREE, but just for postage from STL to wherever you are.
I'd hate to discard it.

Sadly none of my cars are non AC!

Just hang onto it, I'm sure someone will be around eventually with that mystical non AC tercel.

Ha! I have had (and have) several non-ac Tercel. I have a number of spare belts already, some for AC some for non-ac. Here in the PNW, ac is an unnecessary luxury that makes working on the engine a PIA, the components are is always in the way of something else. I feel sorry for you guys in the "heat" belt, you always need your ac.
