New oil pump has no studs for pick up?
Hey guys so I'm in the prosses of reassembling my rebuilt 3ac and was about to mount the oil pickup and noticed the new oil pump has no mounting studs. So my question to you guys is should I go get some bolts for it or should I try taking the time removing the studs by locking two nuts on it. Any other ideas would be great it's the last thing I need to do before putting the oil pan on and really want to get this done already. Thanks guys

i would remove the studs using the nuts
i would not have a problem using bolts either

Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

I have seen them come both ways: some use studs with nuts to hold on the pick up, others have used bolts. It is easy to remove teh studs by using double nuts jammed together tight on the stud, and than use it to unscrew the stud from the old pump. Use lock tight when you install them so they do not come out next time. You can also buy replacement studs from an auto parts store for only about 25 cents each.
