I'd like to announce the opening of the first home for wayward and lonely Tercels from Saskatchewan. Our small bungalow has space on the driveway (and a spare bedroom, if the Tercel is housebroken).
Tercels will dine on balanced meals of new fluids and PetroCanada fuel. Weekly activity schedules include outings for ice fishing, cross-country skiing and canoeing as well as Dad's taxi runs to our daughter's ballet studio and Mom's trips to teach yoga.
As this is Saskatchewan, birthplace of universal health coverage, free health care includes monthly inspections with no co-pay as well as periodic tire, strut and timing belt replacement. There is a waiting list for elective surgery such as hip replacement and bumper enhancement (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9950&p=73785#p73645) as the home acquired a MIG welder just last weekend.
Regular visitation is encouraged by previous owners.

SK Home for Wayward and Lonely Tercels (SHFWALT - say that quickly ten times!)
P.S. for those puzzled by my attempt at humour, if you hear of a Tercel for sale in Saskatchewan, please let me know. I'd like to buy one. Thanks!
P.P.S for now, I'm holding out for a SK car due to difficulties getting a 30-year old vehicle through the provincial safety inspection... but I have not ruled out an import.

Great posting Doug. I hope you find your dream car. Obviously it will be loved. Passing inspection isn't that bad if you can find a rust free import. It depends how anal the shop you go to is. They made me change sway bar bushings because of age cracks, even though there was no play.
Congrats on the mig welder acquisition, I love mine.

Hey Doug - Welcome! If Sk is anything like Manitoba, most tercels have long since dissolved due to road salt. I have picked up several very rusty local parts cars but had to go to the southern end of North Dakota to get a tercel with minimal rust. Good luck and let us know what you find.
