Oregon non running SR5 $200 looks pretty clean

This forum is for cars that run, or at least are close to running. This isn't for parting out complete cars.

looks like an 87 from the alloys and mudflaps. at that price, i'd say it's worth saving.

Super rare alloys at this point, would cover the purchase price!

front drive train noise could be front wheel bearings rather than tranny (not hard to replace)
i would ask if tranny noise stopped when clutch pedal was down, it would most likely be the inner input shaft bearing
i have some of those bearings if anyone picks it up and wants to fix it
the only BUT would be if the tranny oil is drained and there is not much oil in there (like a quart or less)
so i would look under car at transaxle seals area to see if they are very wet with gear oil

no matter what it is worth 200 for the car
Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

If he parks it every day in that spot I'd hate to see the condition of the carpets. Will someone please save this car?

This car needs to be saved!

that is certainly a '87, only that year (and the '88, which uses different wheels) have the glue on door strips, which have come off in this picture. It should have the nice composite headlights on it. the guy does not even know what he owns.

someone should save this car from this careless person, chicken coop indeed! Running and cleaned up it would sell for over $3000 around here. I would consider it if I had the space and time to get it, but I do not.

The "engine fire" is likely just an electrical short, I had one happen, easy fix. People like that should not be allowed to own such a great little car like the Tercel4wd. He should only be allowed to drive fords and Chrysler, cars that few care about.

POST PIX!
I missed/disremember this and the CL posting is delete
It takes more fossil fuel resources to produce new vehicles than it would take to maintain and fuel any 70's or 80's vehicle for a million miles.
