I thought a 22R didn't fit!

i don't believe it for a second.

1) 22R's are 2.4L, not 2.2.
2) 22R's did not come in corollas of the same year.
3) 242 km is not what i consider 'low mileage'.
4) i see rust (i think), dings, and a torn driver seat.

i think this seller is a little out of touch and/or confused.

i know, i emailed him to tell him he was mixed up. he said he must have gotten mixed up with the truck ad he also just put up.

he has this at the bottom of the ad: "Same motor as the 22R 22RE sr5 corolla of that age"

incorrect on all counts, the 4ac came in the corolla of that time, and the 4age in the GT-S corolla. which have similar short blocks, but that is about it.
