i am looking for a roof rack for a road trip coming up. too many people, not enough space. i live seattle so if you are close or willing to ship for relatively cheap please post or pm me. thanks

Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

you can find good quality roof racks cheap at many 2nd had stores or from Craig's list that will work on the Tercel. You want to look for the older style ones that clamp on to the rain gutters. they do not work on any of the newer cars that do not have rain gutters any more, so people just want them out of their garage and often give them away, or sell cheap. I have a $400-500 Yakama rack, with all of the accessory attachments, I bought for $10 at a garage sale because it did not fit anything they owned and had it in their garage for like 20 years. Just look around, you will find them. Not the right time of year for garage sales, but I have seen them in the second hand stores often (Good Will, Value Village, etc.). We luck out, we can use the older style roof racks.
