Well, I'm back at Tercy. I had to take a break from my transmission swap for work for the last two months.
I left with the new trans back in, but unable to get the input shaft all the way in. I'm pretty sure the clutch has dropped so I guess I'm going to be dropping the trans again tomorrow, although it seems like it will be a lot easier with the input shaft already out. Once I drop the transmission, what exactly do i need to realign? And do I need a clutch pilot tool to do this?
Also, I believe my roomates pushed my car a bit while I was gone with it in gear, will this mess up the distributor timing? The trans was installed minus the input shaft.

Re: Transmission Install
i thought i dropped the clutch once when i pulled the input shaft
i pushed the clutch pedal down when the input shaft was out
i thought i was in for some re-work trying to get the clutch realigned
but it worked out ok
i do not remember what i did for sure
i think i propped the clutch pedal down with a stick wedged to the seat
then i wiggled the input shaft in
i may have removed the big bearing on the end of the input shaft first for more wiggle ability
the main thing is i did not have to drop the tranny
also when ever i have had trouble getting the input shaft in all the way (seems to hang up with about 1/8-3/16" to go) i have had someone push in the clutch while i am pushing on it
that has worked every time

Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.
