that actually looks more like an '88 model year (late '87 perhaps?). they came with silver wheels and those much better seats in the DLX model. the '88 also came with silver wheels if they did not come with alloys.
wheels are not that important anyway, over they years it is possible someone got another set for say winter tires, or swapped them out with earlier style wheels when they sold the car but wanted to keep the tires and original wheels for another car or something similar. you never know why, but the do get changed out occasionally by the owners, or even a used car dealer to improve the looks.
Wheels are not that much of an issue I think, the factory skinny steel 13" wheels are flexy and offer poor performance, they should be changed out to alloys, or 14" wheels. If for some reason you want it all to look factory stock, than you are more interested in keeping the mass production factory poor decisions rather than making it safer, and drive and perform better. Good luck with that. I have never understood the obsession with many vintage car owners over "factory original" equipment. I have worked for large automotive companies as an engineer, and I despise poor decisions made by the accounting dept or the marketing department since their motivation is mostly deception rather than making a better car for their customers. I want to improve the car, make it what a true car enthusiast would have wanted to buy from the factory, rather than the purely economic decisions made by financial analysts to maximize their profit from their customers by fooling them into thinking they are buying the best car possible.

It shows up on car-part as being possible (silver hubcaps), but it also shows the normal silver/white ones too. So those could indeed be the stock wheels!
