In need of seat belts (female buckle for the back seats)

Post by simon »

Of course I did not look for the back seat buckles when I bought the car in British Columbia... But after I drove it out to Montréal I hit a knot when I had to pass safety inspections to put a license plate on my wagon!

Now there are none of these cars at any wrecker out here. Any chance to find these here?

I thought I could probably find either a compatible or a generic part, but my research has been fruitless so far.

Are you sure the belts aren't under the seat? You pull on the two tabs at the front of the seat.

hard to imagine anyone would take them out, look under the seat. I think the seat rear seat belts from any old econo-box car can be made to work, be creative.

I was hoping for them to just be burried under the seat, but they are unfortunately not... The previous owner told me he took them out to put them up at the front. As to where those went, well that remains a mystery...
