Help Name This Part

Post by BrownBadger »

Just finishing up my 4AC rebuild project and I noticed this sensor in my parts box. I ordered all new sensors to install, but none looked like this and now I can't recall where I removed it from. Do you guys recognize this? Want to make sure I'm not overlooking something and leaving a sensor off.

Oil pressure sender I'd reckon.

that is an oil pressure sender like pointed out, but the tercel uses a very different looking one, if this came out of a different car that would explain why you did not recognize it.

It actually came off of my 3AC, so someone must have just put the wrong one on at one point. I definitely have a new oil pressure sender on the new 4AC, so it looks like I am in good shape on that front --- no missing senders.

It looks like one of the oil pressure senders on one of my tercels!
