looking for a decent 4wd

This forum is for cars that run, or at least are close to running. This isn't for parting out complete cars.

here are few i just found. the first is another automatic near you, the second is a manual that may or may not be in nelson, BC. both are quite rusty.

Ya, I've seen both ads. Not sure about the automatic in edmonton, I though about checking it out, but I'd really prefer a manual. the one in B.C. is a possibility, Im driving up that way in july, so closer to the date I'll see if its still available. I saw a gem yesterday, followed him into a parking lot and asked if it was for sale. It was an '86, the light green color, minimal rust. Guy said it had only 71,000km on it and he just got it off his neighbour who had it sitting in the garage for 15 years. Needless to say it wasn't for sale....darn...

I'm in Spokane, WA and getting ready to sell my 83 4wd wagon in the next month before a move to seattle. It's got a lot of miles (240,000) and some surface rust, but pretty well sorted out. I can get you more details if you're interested.

I'm asking $1550 OBO. Lots of new parts. Was planning on keeping till she croaked, but we decided to live downtown in Seattle and parking is pricey. Happy to answer any questions about the car. She's pretty well sorted out.

Parting is such sweet sorrow. But less painful if I know she'll go to someone who can appreciate it.
