i love these first gen hatchbacks. i think they're really neat and sporty looking, and i also think any car that just needs a clutch is worth fixing. however, these first gens don't have the cult following that t4's do so i don't know if you would be able to flip it for much.

if you could get it for $300 or so, maybe sell it for $1000, it would be worthwhile. that's assuming there aren't any other issues with it.

Air suction system.

HOLY CRAP. That's like my dream 1st gen tercel right there. AC sunroof SR5 good paint fancy steering wheel rear window defroster nice seats! /drool

the only thing it is missing is the cool louver thing on the back window.

Does the AC work?

If you pick this up for cheap enough I would probably buy it from you, especially if I can thin my stable! Really depends on how much he'd sell it for...I even have a clutch out of another 1st gen tercel that might work...? Might be expensive to ship the clutch, or maybe in a flat rate box.

Well the only reason i knew about this car is from florrykitty (Ted).
He purchased the car and asked me if i could fetch it for him this car is in impressive shape for it's age! (only needs a clutch)
AC works ,new tires,Replaceable glass sunroof, current ca smog cir only two small repairable dents. The car has belonged to the same family from the day it was new and they took very good care of it.

Anyway Florrykitty asked me to post a few photos so he could drool over it until he can make arrangements to get it to idaho.

Ted it's not my flavor car but it's in great shape 8)

I will let him divulge the purchace price but he stole it.
He will likley spend more to get it home than the car cost

It was sad to drive away with the car the previous owner was clearly very attached to the vehicle and it was an emotional moment for him
