Hey All this is my first post on this awesome site and im after some info for my mighty tercel. Is there/Where can i source a locked diff for a tercel 84 AL25? either an electronic or pneumatic one that locks when you press a button. I know they have them for landcruisers but im not sure for a tercel. I was 4WDing before and was going down a sand hill on an angle and the rear right wheel just sat there spinning in the air. I know you can lock the diff with a weld but thats just poor. Anyway any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,
DJC

There's nothing for the Tercel's small rear diff. There are lots of parts for the Corolla GT-S rearend and the even larger Supra one, which will fit the Tercel with a bit of work.

I'd look into having a copy of a Phantom Grip lsd made to fit both the front and rear diffs.

Wow, I knew they caused faster wear, but I've never heard anything quite like that. :o
