Looking at finally doing the WEBER swap but I was curious if anyone was familiar with WEBER's K740-38 outlaw carb kit? What is the difference between the carbs?
The K740 kit says it is a progressive carb and the outlaw kit is said to be a synchronized carb.

Explanation from Redline of the differences between the 32/36 and the 38/38: http://www.redlineweber.com/html/applic ... ice_32.htm
It would seem the 38/38 is a waste of money on an unmodified motor - esp. one with the head of the 3AC.
It's interesting to note that Yotashop also lists a 32/36 that is claimed to be California-complaint.

Thanks Tom, that pretty much spells it out. I wasn't finding much info on the outlaw kit on the sites I found them on.
I am running all stock so the 32/36 looks like it will be my purchase.
Peace

Re: WEBER Outlaw Carb Kit...TURTCEL
38/38 is WAY too big for a 3AC... 32/36 is really on a big side, but the 32/32 is not as easy to find.
