Well my j yard adventure today was not the gold mind i was expecting my reason for the trip was the 4.11 tranny in the 85. When i got there the tranny would not shift s**t both axles were already out so i decided to pull it anyway hoping the front differential was still good. upon removal the clutch looked new so i took it off and sure enough new BRAND NEW ink stamp still on the disk surface.
After pulling the front diff/bellhousing i noticed that the 5th gear synchronizer was cockeyed after poping it loose with a screwdriver the tranny cycled through all the gears again but there is definitely something up with 5th gear so decided to just purchase the 4.11 diff.
At the cash register The lady started adding every little piece throw out bearing, clutch fork lever all of it differential even the diff cover she says that will be 175.00 WHAT FOR A FRONT DIFF how much is the whole tranny she says a transmission is $99 but this tranny has a front diff (she knew her car parts). I ended up taking the hole thing tranny and diff, good window regulator and clutch for 200 bucks OUCH i figured the gear box was worth the 25 extra even with the wonky 5th.
Oh i forgot abought the BRAND NEW tvsv at the register oops. I'm an extremely honest guy but I did not return to pay for it they were going to crush it anyway.
I really prefer the new cashiers that don't know what there looking at.

I typically pay $100 for transmission complete because the cashier doesn't generally realize it's a unique transmission.

Ted i already have the parts you requested in the bone yard
