Help-need 5spd output shaft bearing #9036325015 -
Toyotaoverstock parts didn't have a bearing and said no longer available. I just need the one bearing - Toyota # 9036325015- to get running again. Any info is greatly appreciated like a different manufacturer or cross reference because Toyota doesn't make them or have them any more. Thanks!
Good times!!

Yes I ordered this from them along with a gasket set, then 12 hrs later they don't exist any more. Guess I have to make them as well. Better start saving cereal boxes!!

Check with Butler Toy in Indy or Conicelli in PA or Village in FL.
These are real Toy dealers and very helpful - and with good prices as well.
Toy Overstock is not a real dealer.

Here is what I have found that is "close"... http://www.ebay.com/itm/130572909683 I'm trying it...the original is NSK B25-145 and in searching that see that a "c4" is added with the dimensions of 25x63 (64 on one site)x17.5 w/snap ring groove. the ebay one is 25x62x17 but I need to do something NOW so I'm trying it.

Re: Help-need 5spd output shaft bearing #9036325015 -
I am not sure what the dimensions correspond to, but if the inner or outer diameter is different I would not bother, it will not fit. A slightly different length would likely work fine. If you can find a perfect fit sleeve you might make a smaller outside dia work, but that would be risky and likely a lot of trouble.
that bearing should still be available, you just need to keep looking.

this bearing measures abt 2.479 outside (edited)
abt .982 inside
abt .689 thick (edited)
B25-145 on dust seal (black plastic)
has a groove cut on outside for snap ring
located inside tranny just forward of 3rd-4th gear clutch hub on main output shaft
and is the same bearing as the one on the back end of the input shaft

Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

Re: Help-need 5spd output shaft bearing #9036325015 -
Neither part# B25-145 or part# 9036325015 is listed in the SKF or BCA (Bower) bearing cross references.
your 2.578" = approx 65.5mm,
however 2.559" = 65mm,
and 0.982" = 25mm,
and 0.790" = 20mm.
So, if we assume the O.D. is 65mm, then the bearing size is
65mm O.D. x 25mm x 20mm
Unfortunately that does not seem to be a normal bearing size. For a single row radial ball bearing, the common sizes to fit a 25mm shaft would be:
80x25x21 (#6405)
62x25x17 (#6305)
Sorry, that's all I could find.

Re: Help-need 5spd output shaft bearing #9036325015 -
OK guys, finally got the Tercel back together and just the bearing was bad! Thanks to xirdneh and Petros and everyone else who chimed in. Without this forum and you beautiful people life with my Tercel just wouldn't be the same! I did this with NO special tools, basic wrenches and sockets. Only had a shop press off the old bearing and press on the new- $20 as I don't have a press. However my non-leaking trans is probably gonna leak because there are no gaskets for this and I used the grey locktite stuff...so count on leaks. But I'm back on the road. Sporting new struts on all corners, new CVjoints, and also the clutch now too, which needed replace anyway. New seat covers too for the wifee. I also had the flywheel turned which was $20 additional. I used the old throwout as it seemed better and way beefier than the new throwout that came with the clutch. Although this trans is a complicated little piece, it is easy and straightforward and I just used the manual that I got here to do it all!! Next is a 2" exhaust.
Good times!!
