Distributor bearings

Post by marlinh »

Does anyone know the part numbers for the bearings in the distributors. I have looked at the breakdowns on line (Toyo.DIY.com and Village toyota Parts) and it isn't shown. I want to see if they are available before I tear it apart. Thanks.

I don't think it has any, just uses the aluminum body of the distributor. You might be able to get the hole knurled and drilled to size and get maybe another 100k out of it, or bore it oversize and install custom bushings.

It sure looks like there is a bearing under the counterweights.
