Oh, bah. It is hard to catch that stuff. I wonder what they did to the poor thing to torch it after 120k miles?

way too expensive for all those issues. the trans may just need a good flush, fresh fluid and some valve body cleaner additives. It they changed the fluid more often they may not this problem. A pic would be nice too.

Anytime there is any issues with a transmission, even if "minor", be it a old or a new car, it drastically affects the price. Most people know that transmission trouble almost always means big $$$$ to fix (even if many times it just needs some TLC or a minor external part replaced). So this might be okay, or it might not, that means the price should be lowered accordingly to about half the listing price. he likely will not sell it, it is a rather poorly worded ad as well, designed to scare buyers off.
