I'm looking for a clear corner set from those Tercel 4WDs in Australia, Europe, etc.

Here in North America, Tercels here came with only the orange corner lights.

I am a real motivated, real interested buyer. I will pay asking price and shipping and handling costs.

You will also need the euro composite headlights, headlight trim and the grill to convert your corner lights over from the '85 orange corner lights. they all come in a set and must be used together. One option you might consider is there was a USA version of this installation (with a slight variation) in the '87 and '88 Tercel4wd that uses composite headlights and a different grill. these are rare and hard to find in North America, but likely less costly than getting some from Europe or from down under.

I managed to find some for member Scottisha some a few years ago but he had problems fitting them correctly to his '85 Terc 4wd. Perhaps they would fit the composites and grill better from your '87 from. But they look like they are a little more actually angled than the euro/aus grill.

This wrecker yard often has Tercels. You could try them?

Thanks for the valuable tips. I think the best option for me is to purchase the clear corners from someone, and find over on my end those composite grills and headlights from those 87 tercels... I know exactly what you're talking about!

I would love to have both the euro headlight and grill set up, but also those nice slim bumpers instead of those massive ugly federal bumpers they put on USA cars since 1974.

flyin1, are you in vancouver, BC? if so, there is an '87 t4 advertised for parts on craigslist for $20--not sure if that's a typo on the ad but that's what it says. here it is.

although if it just needs carb work, it would be a shame to part it out. maybe you could just swap your old style headlights and grill on to the '87, fix the carb issues, and sell it at a profit, while using the '87s headlights and grill to complete your euro-mod.

Yes, I am actually located in Burnaby, half a block away from Brentwood Skytrain.

Funny thing is, is that I've already seen this ad yesterday, so I contacted him, and I was going to see the Tercel today (this afternoon) but sadly he never got back to me. All I know is that it's silver. If I do see this Tercel sometime before the weekend, I might pop on it, if the price is right, and figure out the carb issues it has...

also. In europe and Aus the clear corner lights are not indicators but 'side lights' as you might notice we don't have the 'running lights' that the North American cars have. our indicators are on the bumper (like yours) but we have 'repeaters' on the front wing. So you might have to do some rewiring!

Personally, the amount of re-wiring, custom mounting, etc. it'll take to install those side lights on the North American tercel's isn't bothering me... I just want a pair so bad! lol

I love the look of those slim bumpers too, really looks a lot cleaner and more modern. with those composite headlights, grill and marker lights, and it ALMOST looks modern!

Petros. If I ever make it to the USA. I'm packing some of those bumper covers for you. do you know if the plastic is fused to metal reinforcement underneath or bolted on. It would be a lot cheaper just to bring the plastic parts obviously...
