1987 SR5 Orig Paint - $1,800

Post by LennyD »

... As per Petros advice, keep lowering price ...

$1,800 is as low as I want to go on it, it has to be worth that for the body, and it's a good runner with new clutch, tires, brakes, good tranny, goes down the road straight, etc., etc.. Pls let me know if anyone wants it.

I really like the steering wheel...is it a stock T4WD steering wheel or a swap?

Pretty sure it's the stocker for a Canadian model. Wheels and funky paint scheme are factory too. Check out the brochure from 1987...

that would sell around here fast at that price (Puget Sound/seattle area). Looks nice and I presume it a good runner. Perhaps you need a more enthusiastic ad for it? put lots of description of everything that is good about this car, might help sell it.

You might consider selling it in Washington. It is exempt from emissions testing, so that should not be an issue, not sure how much trouble it would be to get it sold and licensed in Washington state. might need an inspection and some kind of documentation proving it has a clear title and the owner is selling it.

Hi Al - Yes, 4WD. Tentatively sold it to a guy in Fernie who is planning to get down here next week to pick it up. So, I've taken the ad down. If he bails on the deal (which I'm sure he won't) I will let you know.
Thanks;

Thanks! Supposed to complete next Thursday, so we'll see how it goes. in the meantime just picked up another project - 1974 FJ40 with factory PTO and rear heater... Has some rusties in the tub but solid frame and only 85,000 miles...
