'83 4AFE swapped T4WD SR-5 (Lincoln, Nebraska)

Post by c0z »

Selling my '83 T4WD 6 speed. 233K on body, approx 135K on engine, ~20K after swap. Installed 4AFE in 2010, daily drove it for two years, and have used it as a backup snow vehicle for the past year and a half or so. The car has been extremely reliable, and has way more power than stock. Parts of the swap like the cheesy looking radiator hose setup, and insulation over the firewall recess were supposed to be "temporary", but since it's no show car I ended up leaving good enough alone.

The good:
-4AFE/6-speed
-New clutch installed with engine
-Newer alternator
-New rear wheel cylinders/rubber line
-Newer shifter bushings
-Tires have good tread
-Exterior roll-on bedliner
-Interior in alright shape for age (seats/carpet could use shampoo)

The not so good:
-Decent dent in the passenger rear door area as seen in picture (might be able to find the trim in my garage)
-Door jams/engine bay still red
-No a/c since swap
-No radio installed currently

$1500, located in Lincoln, NE

that's really cool. i've never seen pics of a 4afe in a terc. did you ever track your mileage with it?

i'm also a big fan of the bedliner paint job. good luck selling it.
