love the ad description. i guess for $400, the seller is putting in no more effort than required. it looks almost identical to the one i just fixed up!

hmmm. that's a good idea that i hadn't thought of, marlene. unfortunately i've got several other big projects on the go and no room for another parts car right now.

It's not a parts car if it still runs...It's like a portable storage space! Cheaper than renting a storage unit, and with all the glass you could turn the car into a greenhouse...

but i'd need the gas tank from it right away! i suppose i could rig up a jar and some tubes to keep it driveable, haha.

anyway, i've got a few elite forum members working on finding me a tank so i'll probably hold out for that option.

Old antifreeze jug makes a great gas tank!
if it aint there, there's a good chance it won't break!

I once had an old van with a rotten gas tank I rigged up a electric fuel pump and two 5 gallon plastic gas cans in the back of the van. Got me around for a year before the motor let go.
It was REALLY dangerous but i was young and invincible at the time.
I actually had a battery sitting next to the fuel pump to power it how RETARDED is that!
