Looks to be in rough shape. Comes with a crate engine. May be a fixer upper?

despite the surface rust, this car has very low miles. he must be near the waterfront to get that kind of rust, California does not use salt. No detail if it is drivable as is, or what else is wrong with it, could be a good fixer.

too many boats, and Tercel projects already (three of each, plus another 4 completed or "yard art" boats in my yard).

What a difference a decade makes
The owner contacted me with this link to this post stating it's his car. Funny thing is we have been back and forth 6 times and he still has not said if i can buy it.

Just checked the direct Craigslist add for this car and the guy took off the 500 dollar price tag.
And I have still had no response from him other than a picture of what it used to look like.

This has happened to me a few times recently I wish people would at least respond to the add.
Or say they have had a chance of heart. I always have had the courtesy respond to other people trying to contact me.
WHY PLACE THE ADD IN THE FIRST PLACE if you don't want to reply to it.

nobody can even get that car to pass Ca smog with one dead cylinder.
probably end up in the crusher what a shame.

EDIT i was looking at the add on my phone and didn't see the 500 with my small screen
