Wanting to buy Tercel around Tacoma WA

I have been looking for a good car for awhile now. I am 20 and pretty sure I want a tercel but I cant find a good one online. Anyone selling one?

there are tons in your area! just keep checking craigslist.

be warned though, cars this old require a fair amount of maintenance. hopefully you are mechanically inclined or eager to learn. it's a great car to learn on, super simple and wonderfully designed with maintenance in mind.

Just keep looking, fairly clean ones show up regularly at higher prices, and fixers can be bought for very good prices if you are willing to do some "sweat equity" to make it nice daily driver.

This cars are reliable but as they age there is always something that will need to be replaces or repaired. It will add up costs pretty fast if you have to take it to a repair shop for everything it needs, fortunately most procedures are easy to do yourself with basic tools, and save yourself a lot of money. Be sure you go over and read the FAQ about buying a Tercel4wd.

Not sure if your able or willing to travel for a good car but I think one in Portland Oregon is going to come up for sale soon it has very low miles and looks to be in great shape.
The owner is going to get it running before the sale so she can get a few more dollars for the car.
