besides being put off by the danger of stuff like this, i just don't understand the appeal of driving over things that you could easily walk or hike up. if you were on a long drive to somewhere remote and had to get over a huge obstacle, that would make sense, but just driving over things for the challenge doesn't make sense to me. i'd rather park my vehicle and walk up it.

It is both a test of human nerve and machine, without both it could not happen. SO, why go mountain climbing at all? why go big game hunting? why sail across the ocean when flying by commercial carrier costs less? why go hang gliding? why do base jumping? it is just about doing a challenge, without any danger, there is not much of a challenge.

On a recent trip to St. Augustine Florida there was a nearby alligator farm that gave tours. for an extra $65 or so you can ride a zip line over the alligator pits. Seemed like a dubious thrill to be, but there were people lining up to do it.
