Repairpal?

Post by takza »

A quick way to check out the parts and labor costs for various repairs.....probably not for the T4wd though...didn't check.

The 2 jobs I did on my Focus were only around $300 labor....

I'm just a little offended. How about a site that tells you how much YOU are worth? Not much different.

Too many variables. Skilled tech, new tech school grad, or c-list hack? OE parts or not? Did someone screw it up previously? Rusted fasteners? Is a disaster hiding underneath the surface? etc,etc..

If you can't trust your mechanic, you need a new one. (He is required to make a living off of you)

Sorry if I am still a thorn in your side. Welcome back anyway!

times vary from different data sources, we recently looked at the flat rate for replacing a carb on a Tercel4wd from Alldata, 1.8 hours!?!? that takes at most 20 min, and another 10 or so to make the adjustments.
