I never thought I would see something with a turbo posted on this forum, awesome lol.
Supras are still a great tuning platform, thanks to the godly 2jzgte motor. Coupled with the 6speed getrag transmission these cars are made for high speed.
Got to love the drone of the fuel pumps, most big HP supra guys run 2-3 fuel pumps in the hanger for upped fuel pressure and redundancy, pretty cool.
It is kind of mind blowing it has so much power on pump gas, unless E85 is available at his local stations.
We certainly do not have E85 readily available up here, so most people tune with 91-94 octane and get methanol injection
I have driven a few different year supras, I do not care for them. They are high powered heavy pigs of a car. Not really a sports car as far as I am concerned, they are not nimble and nor fun to drive. I guess that robust engine makes them popular for the high powered hot rod types, those that suffer testosterone poisoning. that much hp out of 3.5 liters is what a pure race car produces, so I can not imagine what it would like to drive on a daily basis. I think it is more of a car to brag about rather than having any practical use, even a "sports" car.
