This looks like an awesome deal. Someone buy it so I can live vicariously through you. Or buy it, fix the rest of its problems, and sell it to me for a profit in a couple months. (Petros, I'm looking at you)

if the trans is bad it is hardly worth that price, no matter how much money he put into it. I never cared for these Tercels, it is very dated looking and kind of odd too, very "Japanese" style. I can not understand why some people like them so much, causing them to spend too much on them (such as Irowiki!).

I hardly spend that much on mine! Mostly just normal stuff. Sure I'm trying to restore all the abuse but it is still cheaper than a car payment!

Besides, I bought it not knowing about the wagons, and this site introduced me to the wagons! Also introduced me to doing more work myself!

The 1981 facelift looks better than the 1980 style too.

However, now that I've driven the wagon, it is a completely different experience! The first generation feels cheaply made and the ride is cheap, but the wagon feels like a real car. Maybe I'll replace it with a FWD wagon or a M/T 4WD wagon someday, or have three cars!
