Various T4wd Parts

Post by LittleRed4wd »

It's time to thin out my parts collection- still have lots left from parting out my old car. Let me know what you need, and I'll see if I still have it.

Some of the bigger parts still left:
3ascv head, valve cover and manifolds- Only came on JDM motors, vac diaphragm works great. Whole thing could use a cleaning but is in great shape.
Automatic transmission- 120k, drives great in fwd and 4wd
Complete rear end from automatic car- drives great
Rear hatch- complete minus plastic interior pieces
2 complete AC systems- not sure if they work, never messed with them
Engine x-member
P/S rack, pump and lines
Radiator and fan
Water pump
alternator
Heater fan
Carpets- pretty clean, no rips
DX Steering wheel
Grille (83-86 style)
Rear bumper in pretty good shape
2 front bumpers, both a bit bent up
L and R taillight housings
Headlight assemblies and bezels with inner parking lights
All glass minus windshield in perfect shape
All window regulators minus driver
RF fender- slightly bent but no rust
Two sets of stock steelie rims- One set straight with a bit of surface rust, the other set has one bent rim and more surface rust. Both sets have decent 175/70/13 tires that I can sell separate from the rims

Many, many more various small parts

I'm willing to be pretty flexible on prices, especially the bent up stuff. Let me know if anyone wants anything!

I am reaaaaally new to the world of tercels so this may sound really dumb, but is this a sr5 wagon? and if so what color is it because I need a back hatch but in the correct color... I also need a bunch of little stuff to make it look good again like the left and right tail lights, some fuses (or relays, not sure witch) and a rear view mirror...

welcome to the list!

yes, there is an SR5 version with no mechancial diffrences between it and the DLX version. main difference is the instrument cluster which has a tachometer, and the seats and side door panels are fabric covered rather than vinyl, also the SR% has more adjustments. and some external trim differences. the rear hatch, next to licence plate has "SR5" in red above the lift handle ("Soda Pop Machine"). The outside review mirrors are different style from '83-84 and '85 and newer. both are interchange able but if you mix them they will be different style left and right side.

Also, they used slightly different colors from one year to the next, only the gold color I think is the same. So if you are looking for a rear hatch in the correct color, you may need to match the year. Also, I learned this the hard way, they used different electrical connectors in the rear hatch for the wiper, back up light, lic light, and defroster from one year to the next. Not that big a deal to switch the connectors, but an extra bit of work.

Okay, thanks! I have the 1984 SR5 4WD Wagon in this kinda odd off-white color (not sure what its technical name is, the interior is tan(ish) and brown and white plaid) and I just cannot find any other wagons (parts cars, that is) with the same color... Also I am sort of confused about the little fuse box in the engine (I am not sure if some of those are fuses or relays really). Some of them are missing and I do not really know where to find replacements. Penultimately the left and right tail lights are pretty mangled (for the same reason my hatch is ruined, some guy with a huge truck...). Lastly the interior rear view mirror... It is just weird to drive without it. Will the hatch fit colors and wiring? I am a mechanical idiot, but I am learning!

I call that the "peanut butter" interior color, I have that too in my tan (light yellowish) '84 Tercel. the '85 and later brown interior is a different shade of brown. that color interior trim came in the '83 and '84 Tercels in Gold, Red and Tan body color. The White, silver and blue Tercels had a grey and blue interior. Your seats are known as the "pick-nick blanket" pattern. The trim color is common to both the 2wd and 4wd Tercels, but the cloth seats are only in the SR5 Tercels. The inside review mirror is the same in all years and all models Tercels, and I think the same in the corollas as well.

Shade- It's a DX wagon- The hatch is white, and It'll fit your car, but the wiring connector is probably going to be different, so you'd have to do a bit of wiring. The taillights will work no problem, and be easy to ship, too. I've also got all the relays and fuses, Let me know which ones you need and I can send those your way, too.

Hello LittleRed4wd! I have nailed down almost all parts i need, but am having trouble locating Vacuum Switch A and B, the single wire, single vacuum line parts near the ebcv and radiator overflow tank. Might you have these? Also tell me more about the J spec head you have for sale. Will it work with a stock headgasket?

Pulled the driver's door parts yesterday- i recall you mentioned something about needing a driver's mirror too? Mine's off an '84 (hinged fold away style.) Prob different from yours but i think dlb had a post describing the needed mods.
As for the vac switches, i checked 'em with a vac pump and ohm meter and they're good. Left 'em on the bracket tho because i'm afraid they'd be damaged by removal due to the rust situation.
No problem with the expansion tank- i'll include the cap and hose too.

How's $40 plus the ride from 21214 (i'm in baltimore MD) sound? My guess is shipping via USPS should be $20- $25 depending on your location.

Let me know Thanx, Rich.
