Wow, that seems like a lot of trouble for a sedan. Does anyone know if the engine and drive train is similar to ours?

not likely any of the hard parts are any different. changes would be emission controls, perhaps the trim and lighting (the front grill is different and most Euro Tercels had the composite headlights, and the side marker light on the front fenders just ahead of the driver's door).

terceldude, do you have any pics of your t4?
yes, they were made from August 1984-October 1989 as my Japanese language parts catalog states... And why yes, I do..I have even some poor quality, lol, digital camera pics of the car, but it's kind of black, lol...If you PM me, I could try and send them...

Good point Pet, but, I really badly want the car because the Subies of 84 and before and AMC Eagles all had matching sedans, so this way I could acquire a Tercel one too...:)

I wonder if he knows where Vladivostock is located...?
For that matter, where Khabarovsk is located? This car has the trashed interior, no wheels, and is up on RR ties...

Tom why do you always say my username and talk about me in the past tense and like I do something wrong? Are you alright? I think it would be cool if you let everyone moderate on these forums, lol...And yes, I know where Vladivostok is located, I'm not dumb..I study geography a lot more than you think..Matter of fact, tried to get a job in place name translation services aka exonym type business... And yes, I know where Khabarovsk is...I have the Oxford University's 2005 Dictionary of World Place Names of which I currently add new exonyms to FYI...I talked about importing cars from Europe because I thought I wouldn't move to Europe.. But I might still move there..I don't know...I'm sure the seller still has the wheels..Matter of fact, I think I might know who the seller is...I also belong to www.drive2.ru, I have pictures of my own Terc registered there...

Interesting you note power mirrors: I was in a picknpull about a year ago and they had a Corolla from either 84 or 85 that had the same outside mirrors as our Tercel, but they were factory power mirrors. I pulled one off and took a look at it, looks like it would fit on the Tercel no problem. I bought it and it sits in a box on my self in the garage. Some day when I have too much time I do not know what to do with I thought I might see about installing it in my Tercel. Power mirror in my T4wd, all I would need than is adapt the power windows and door locks, and I would have a very special T4wd.

no need to be so aggressive, pete. i just don't think a $350 car is worth writing a big ad over. i think a simple description and a few pics would sell it just fine. it's fine by me if you disagree but, similarly, i don't think this is worth arguing over.

I think I agree with this! :) I think we should all just be nice to each other, even the mods! :)
