Jets For Weber? Need Help

I recently aquired a weber 32/36 from a friend that he used on a 22r. I was getting horrible gas milage at the time since i had my secondary barrel ziptied to my primary so it would open. yea i know. i was getting around 130 miles max on 1 tank. this definitely had to do with my ziptieing aswell as my large tires i believe but anyways i put on the new carb expecting to increase in economy at least a little. i figured that it has jets setup for a 22r which requires more fuel. My question is what jets are you guys using to get 2 and 3 hundred miles out of your tercels? I am very very new and uninformed when it comes to carbs, im from the land of fuel injection, so this is complex stuff to me. any jet numbers would be great. I live around 0-500 ft elevation if that helps anyone.

I suggest calling the Weber Carbs Tech line. They can tell you the exact jets you need for your elevation and application. Good Luck.

do a search on here. a bunch of guys have swapped to different jets in their webers to accommodate for altitude and they list the different sizes. at 0-500 ft elevation, the stock 32/36 jets would be fine. i live in the the same elevation and i ran my weber stock, getting average tercel fuel economy (25 mpg city, up to 32 mpg highway). i would have gotten better if i had both vacuum advance hoses hooked up at the time but i didn't learn that until just before i sold that terc. the new owner got much better mileage.
