Securing exterior door guards

Post by Housewiz »

Trying to wash away road salt at the car wash loosened the vinyl door guards on our wagon. Wat do you guys recommend, after thoroughly cleaning the door & guard, to secure them back on the door?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

do you have the one secure with clips, or attached with two sided foam tape? either way weather strip adhesive works well, or freash two sided foam tape (available at auto parts stores). Make sure it is attached in such a way to allow trapped moisture to drain out along the lower edge.
