I've got a collection--
2 SR5 '84's parts cars almost ready for scrap
1 '87 4WD with what was a beautiful original windshield smashed by a large owl while traveling at 110kmh 4 nights ago (winter car) Ouch!--such a beautiful bird
1 '86 4WD converted from auto to 6 Spd--Corolla 4A but can't stop smoking although good compression--try the patch??
A clean '85 FWD Dlx with 160 km's (summer car)
Another clean FWD Dlx with 200 km's but has front end damage from a conversation with the back end of a truck
I have converted 2 FWD auto's and 1 4WD auto to 5 and 6 speeds and have collected a lot of parts.....
In terms of Tercel ownership 25 years+
Kept my own cars maintained and repaired 35 years+ and finding that engine & tranny swaps are not as easy as when I worked on English Hillman's back in the '70's
and I still think that Tercel Wagons are ONE OF THE BEST AFFORDABLE CARS EVER MADE!
