Where in WA state....

Where in WA state, preferably the northwest side, can you go off roading? Nothing really intense... That a stock 4wd could handle. I know there is the mountain loop highway, but you can make it through that with 2wd...

mountain loop is a 2wd highway, with a few gravel sections north of Barlow pass. Only snow and ice would make it 4wd, once snow gets heavy they just close it for the winter. there are also a lot of nice side trips on good gravel roads off the mt. loop hwy that I have driven.

Maybe there are some good steep trails. One of my coworkers used to go to mt pilchuck and race his rabbit on some trails. He also use to drive it to the top in the winter... I'll drive up there this winter aft I get my truck running.
