I need the community's opinion on this car. I might drive down to take a look this weekend (if someone else doesn't beat me to it).

I don't quite understand what the ad says about the engine. Did he have it mounted differently or not?

looks like a great buy. It appears to have an imported crate engine installed (the car should have a 3ac, not a 3a as seen in the picture). Likely a good engine. well worth it unless there is something hidden in the pics. factory alloy wheels and roof rack. SR5 model. I like that color too.

The statement on the engine is just to tell people the car is easier to work on because it does not have a transvers engine like all other front wheel drive cars. They came that way, nothing to worry about.

looks like that belongs to new forum member gmc97520. he claims both in the ad above and the link below to have gotten 40 mpg with city driving but i don't believe that. these cars tend to average 28 mpg city/32 hwy. you can do a bit better or worse depending on how careful you are but the only times anyone else, hyper-miler or otherwise, has reported getting close to 40 mpg has been on long roadtrips with the wind at their back.

despite the mileage claims, the car looks very nice.
