looking good!

Are you thinking about going 2wd? Not sure the 2wd trans is strong enough for the 4age, with 4wd at least have the power will be shared between front and rear drive train.

it looks like peter tuning has a hatchback so i'm going to guess that it is 2WD. if the trans can hold up, it'll zip.

I like the side view mirror, I will put some on mine as well. Good luck with your project! And yes and should zip pretty good! I did some calculation with the rpm x ratios x wheel size, I got the 4 speed and at 9000 rpm it should reach 250km/h not bad the 5 speed was around 300km/h that's with the 4.11 diff. If I remeber good and 14 inch wheel and 205/60r14. For FWD I will try it like that first before the conversion to 4wd!

Beast,

you are missing something from your equation. IF the power required to push the car that fast is more than the engine can put out at that rpm, you will never get to that speed. Drag goes up exponentially with speed, there will be some point where the engine can not put out enough power to push the car that fast. So you might need more power, or to reduce the drag to get it that fast.

It's just a rough equation! I know those drift corolla goes well over 200km/h with only 170hp! I'll put it to the test this summer, I'm planning on inplanting in april. I do have a bit of concern on stability over 200+ some stiffening will be require. The speed is achievable with ,like you mentioned some detail to keep in mind around it but not impossible. The 300 I doubt it can be achieve as the 5th gear is more of an overdrive. Anyway to stay on the realistic side 200-225km/h is plenty enough! When I had my rx-7's, it could go at 300km/h but never had a opportunity to do it unless you go on an oval track, did reach 280km/h for a fraction of time! Twice I think! Once to piss a crotch rocket off, obviously he got me but he had a hard time!lol
