Lots of big photos.

Looks like the body's a little dinged up. More dings than I think I'd like for that high price. The black strips along the side panels look like they're being held up with black-colored duct tape.

Also is it just this year or does the 4wd shifter look different?

I want to go look at this car this week. Anybody see any other issues that could be helpful for a looker like myself?

those pics are way, way too big to be useful. an auto place should know how to post ads.

from what i can see in the pic with the 4wd shifter, i think the metal cap that says "FWD<--/-->4WD" is missing. it's just glued on, not a big deal.

The biggest thing I notice is that it seems to have had a junkyard engine swap, that's not a 3A-C, I think it might be a 1A-C from an early Tercel. I think it's overpriced...

Now, now, boyz - it's being sacrificed, having been marked down $1000, from an original $3999  ,

the 1A, 2A, and 3A engines are all very similar:

regardless, it's still not the right engine and that makes me wonder about the history of the vehicle and the sort of maintenance it received.

If it does have a 1A-C, then you'll be losing out on a whopping 2 HP! If it was well maintained, then it should've had the original engine I would think.
