"rare jewel"?...it's primer'd. the body looks pretty good but it's far from mint. non-working A/C, not smogged--way too much $$$. the seller believes the sunroof is a rare option though so that tells you something.

If it doesn't easily pass smog, that could end up cost you quite a bit of money to straighten it out. I agree with DLB, it's overpriced.

What's the point of keeping a spare on the roof, secured only by a strap which will permit the tire to slide back and forth, thereby removing some of the finish?
And what's up with displaying caps in the back window? Is that a CA thing? At least their placement would seem to indicate the parcel tray is still intact.

It also seems to have had its front grilled replaced as it has the '83-'84 style TOYOTA 4WD emblem. Also, I took a quick look at the smog check history and it has failed twice in the last 3 months. In CA, the seller is liable for providing for the smog certification.
