I think we have a language barrier. Very common here in SoCal. I think he meant plaque. In Mexico they call badges and licenses "placas"

Had a guy call my T4 an apocalyptic vehicle, as in one of the last cars standing if the shiite hits the fan. I'll take that as a compliment.

Car for sale looks nice and clean.

I sold my 84 this summer. It was kept at my mothers house in Florida. I bought the car from the family of a deceased gentleman for a $100. the car needed a little TLC as it had just survived a recent hurricane. A little less than a year later during a tremendous squall a heavy concrete form fell on the car, knocking out the windshield and causing some body damage, which allowed rust to get started. 6 years forward, the car resplendent with rust, so much so, that when it was DRIVEN away there was a rust ring where the car was parked. Much like the chalk silhouette of a dead body at a crime scene. I sold the car for $200.
Now that is a car for the Apocalypse

I think in 1994 there was a major earthquake in southern california, and some very large freeway bridges and overhead on/off ramps collapsed into giant piles of rubble. Mixed into the mangled wreckage of the freeway structures were some cars and trucks unlucky enough to be on the overpasses when it collapsed. right in the middle of the mess was a short section of freeway bridge deck, the lane markers and paint strips still viable, was a yellow Tercel4wd looking totally unharmed and perfectly drivable parked on that short section of freeway deck. The Tercel4wd survived a major disaster, falling a way way to land on its "feet" on the only section of wreckage that was still recognizable.

I saw it on TV, I want to find that picture and post it here, but many internet searches came up blank. I got to find that picture.
