I encountered mention of this on the BringaTrailer site.
Seems like the product's name is descriptive.
From its site:
"In searching for a name for this product, we could not get away from the three words most commonly used to describe a difficult-to-start engine: "Start Ya Bastard".

Apart from "Rent a Bomb" car rental. I can't think of any right now but will have a think about it while at work today! :)

There used to be a low budget car rental chain in the USA called "rent a wreck", there are many other now that are less descriptive, like "Ugly Duckling rent a car".
