Shitbox kinda means "beater" in aus as we don't use that term.. we even have a car rental place called "Rent a bomb". I think we probably have a little more English sense of humour over here. Self depreciating humour and all. English "The Office" > American "The Office" even if you do have Steve Carrel in yours.

TOTALLY. the US version of the office is garbage but i love the UK version. it's so much more legitimately and painfully awkward. the US version is a goofier, easier to swallow, watered down version of that same humour.

OT, but since we are talking about OZ Speak...I ran across this product on the BringaTrailer site: http://www.nulon.com.au/products/Aeroso ... e_Starter/
Read the intro on the page - hilarious!
We don't have that product in the USA portion of North 'Murrica - maybe in Canada?

I think that was a good little haul of Tercels. Is the blue one running rough as well as the white? I thought it looked really clean.

So good to have your own parts car.. are they the same years? you've probably read about the two different gear ratios that change over in oct '85? and make it important to make sure you have the same model year front and rear dif ratios. You might have luck with the Toyota dealers rather than the main company but it's worth a try!.

At least there are lots of 4ac corollas around to steal engine parts from. I also got an electronic distributor off a corolla it's a worthwhile upgrade for about $30. no more points!

Yes, Elizabeth, you could get some advance buyers in Dawson, and race a fleet of them up

How tough is your Tercel?

The T4WD "TJ to Tuk" Turtle Run:

Tijuana, Mexico to Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories

https://maps.google.ca/maps?saddr=Tijua ... ,4&t=m&z=3

Okay, so I made it up, but I sure like the ring to it! I don't think you can actually drive to Tuk in the summer, but hey, with a bunch of T4's anything is possible! We could go climb some pingos.

If we all drive the same kind of car, each of us can carry specific parts as "group" spares and tools, with enough parts to fix any problem along the way and keep the caravan moving.

I've got one that will be just in Rego for the Next Rally. It's in Sydney. It runs well enough, save a strange rattling at about 70, under acceleration. Although it does Idle a bit rough. Offers under $1000
