Tail lite assembly and rear hatch window are exactly the same for SR5 and DLX. And even the same on the 2wd station wagon. I might have some spares of these items.

where are you? shipping could be costly, usually better to find local source.

Rear window not too bad to replace, replacing the whole hatch requires changing the key lock, pulling out the wire harness, matching paint, etc. Replacing the glass is much easier. Also, from one production run to the next, they changed the connector type in the rear hatch, meaning even more trouble with rewiring it if you change the hatch unless you get lucky.

And where might you be? I've got a rear window and a tail light - not sure which side but I can check. There's a yard near me that may have a T2wd with intact asslights. Let me know if interested.
It's a scientific fact that in a twin engine aircraft, when one engine fails there is always enough power in the remaining engine to make it all the way to the crash site.

North of 64, do not feel bad about it, I have done it both ways. On the first Tercel4wd I owned, bought it with a broken rear window, I thought swapping the hatch would be easier too. I thought I would just pull the bolts on the hatch and swap the whole rear hatch. The lock also swaps over easy too, just a big spring clip holding it in. But there is the sprayer, wiper, the defroster and the lic plate light wiring which is a lot more trouble to change out than I would have through. You have to unconnected them and feed the wire around the edge of the window and fight it through the grommet. I gave up and cut it, than spliced the wires back together in the new hatch. But the contacts eventually corroded and made all of the electric stuff operate unreliably after that. I would never do that again.

It looks like it would be hard to remove the rear window, and risk having it leak. but you can remove the rear window without any tools, you just roll the rubber gasket back away from the metal on the inside, work your way around from the corner, and when you have enough of it rolled out the glass just suddenly comes free. An extra set of hands to help hold the glass and rubber gasket in place is nice, but not really necessary.

I've found that if you are replacing the hatch, disconnect the wiring from the various components and tie a string around the wiring and feed it through the channel along the inside of the hatch as you gently pull the wiring out through the top. Then leave the string in place. Anchor it so it doesn't fall out till you're ready to feed the other one through. It works pretty slick.
