andrewrenow wrote:I think what Petros said is rite on! I do the same thing that you have done. I also have my dealers license to buy and sell cars. This is also how i pay for college. Last summer i made more than enough money than i needed but i spend it sooo fast. Im really bad at saving money. Ive been buying and selling cars since i was 17 and im pretty good at it ,but i hate it soo much! Getting dirty, phone calling off the hook, 95% of people flaking, people pissed off calling me 6mo after they bought the car because it broke down when they bought a car with 280k miles on it, etc. Its just really annoying to me.

You guys are rite! I love this car too much! I want to put a 4age in it, paint the exterior flawless, leather interior, and heated front seats. It took me about 2 years to find it and i got it at a great price. these are so hard to find in my area. i have major plans for this. Thanks for the help guys im just really concerned but i think i can work my butt off all summer and get a stash of money saved up.
Agreed! Keep the Tercel and manage your money better, live off of less, cut some corners but get your schooling and keep the Tercel

I have gone back to university only a couple of years ago best thing I ever did!. Have saved a lot of money by refurbishing a garage inside a house in the city ride my bike in to uni and pay minimal rent. commuting sucks but if you have to how about buying a motorbike and keeping the Tercel for rainy days and taking girls to the drive in... I can assure you that your Tercel will be better than the Paseo as my sister had one and it was pretty horrible to drive in auto form anyway.

good luck man, you won't regret studying again. it is a lot easier after you have worked for a bit.

I can image the cost of the Bridges , at Lower mainland ( Surrey , Coq,Burnaby ,and Langley ) that go across several bridge to Vancouver B.C. ( from east to west ). Few year ago they open "Golden bridge" which save fuel and time but cost approx $ 7 each way AND now they are building massive bridge called "Port Mann bridge " which will become toll bridge too. I will probably will use this bridge many time in future .

you could bang out those dents on the passenger side doors easily. just remove the door trim (3 philips screws, use a rag to remove the window crank clip, use a flat screwdriver to pry the upper window trim piece, and then just pull the panel to pop the clips) and then use a wood block and a hammer to gently knock the dents out. should take under an hour. would make it prettier and more likely to sell for that price.

Way cool! They must have a thing for the Tercel4wd over at Jalopnik, no other car magazine ever even noticies them, let alone feature them.

The former weekend editor, a chap by the name of Murilee Marting (he now posts those cars from the junkyard series for the truth about cars site) had a few of these in the 90's so he was particuarly fond of them. Jalopnik is a probably the only car blog I look at. They love manual+wagons, citroen DS's, Volvos rather than just supercars...

That's awesome! I feel honered. It's crazy how many people voted on it. I love this car. I've have had about 5 people interested but Ive been way to busy rite now to even show it. The day after I posted the add I got a huge contract job painting the whole interior of a 28 room hotel. It's an 8week job and will provide enough money to last me a whole year. So what I'm trying to say is the future is looking great for my t4wd.
