i had what i thought was a bad axle issue (drivers side)due to the grinding/knocking noise when i cut the wheel left, so i swap it out and it fixed the problem and due to having bad front tires i leave the car parked after about 30 miles on new axle...i finally put new tires on the front after about 2 months and i start hearing the axle noise agian...i figure well it must have been a faulty axle so being that it was still under warranty i change out the axle again with a brand new one, take the car out for a drive and the noise is just as persistate. Now im thinking gotta be wheel bearings so i jack the car up and check both side wheel bearings by trying to wiggle the wheel and detect any movement but not finding any what so ever... any suggestions on what else i could check or what the noise could be
p.s. I also checked the passenger side axle to see if maybe it could be the culprit but it seems to be fine as well
have a weird noise from what sounds like my axle

if you cut the wheel left and get knocking, than it would be the right side (passenger side in North America) axle that is bad. Usally wheel bearings make constant grinding, the CV joints thump or knock in accelerating turns.
IF you can get a good grip on the axle shaft and rotate it forward and back, there should be NO movement at all, not even a little. IF there is rotational play, it is the CV joint that is worn out and causing the thumping.
Slight possibility spider gears in diff are trashed, but that is less likely (they only rotate when turning), if you get thumping all the time than ring and pinion could be bad. IF you can not find the cause you might drain the diff oil into a clean pan and take a close look at it. IF you have metal flakes you might need to replace the diff assembly. Be sure you refill the gear oil all the way (holds 4 quarts).
Good luck.

Re: have a weird noise from what sounds like my axle
what petros said about turning left indicating passenger side axle issues. i've never been able to find play on a wheel due to a bad bearing, i've only recognized them by their constant grinding. i was fooled by the last one though, which just sounded like really loud road noise.
have you checked your front sway bar ends? if they're badly bottle-necked and the collar has long turned to dust (very common) there end of the sway bar can bounce around. i did a write up on removing/check the sway bar here:

checked both sides and their fine...it only does it when i give gas while the wheel is turned...guess it must be my spider gears

Still could be CV joints, they thump when you give it gas in a turn. If it does it the same when you turn left or right, could be both left and right CV joints are worn, or could be the differential. check the CV joints first, much easier and cheaper to replace.
