it was interesting that this community came together.

I quickly decided I didn't like it, despite it's excellent PDF, because polar answers to basic questions confused real issues.

 I'm sorry to hear that. Guess everyone can't be happy here. What do you mean by 'polar answers'? Just so we can help others better in the future.

There are only so many folks on here who are experienced with all levels of repair of the tercel, and many of those who are do not always have the time to reply to other's questions. Occasionally you get more inexperienced members attempting to give advice, this can lead to confusion to the one asking questions. This happens on all forums though. You always have to sift through information to figure out what is correct for your particular situation. Everyone helps with the best intentions.

Good luck finding a forum which will provide you with better help with regard to the tercel 4wd. And if you do, let me know. ;) Personally I think this forum is doing quite well considering it has only been in existance for 10 months or so.

R.E. Polar answers

i'm about 6,000 km's from the South Pole.. but I'm not sure if we have had any Tercel answers from Antarica yet.. Lateer is from Tasmania which is even closer!

and I'm sure you Canadians have the North Pole covered.

So yes between us and due to the often anarchic way of the web you will get many points of view! :D
