That is not a bad price even with the repairs. Where is kelowna?

Let's not forget we are metric up here in Canada. The Karma car measures in at just under 195k miles (313k kilometers).

that does sound like a good project car. not too far from you, peter. kelowna is about 4 hours drive from vancouver, bc if i remember correctly.

That would make it about six hours from me. I thought about it, I have driven much further to bring a project Tercel4wd home, but I do not have time or the cash right now (I have to sell Hermes from NM still, almost all fixed and ready to sell now). And I have not ever bought a car across the border before, so I do not know what kind of hassle that will be either. likely pretty costly, bad enough expense to just buy a car here and pay for title and transfer tax within the state, add federal fees on top, a $500 car can easily cost almost double.
